Prompt #5 - iLove

Hi everyone.
Well it has been a long week... Melody has been sick ALL week, and we have also found out that she may be lactose intolerant, we just have to wait for the test results. Jamie has also been sick for the last day or so, so I am very tired and I am crossing my fingers that I don't catch this bug too.
I did have some great news though. I was the "Random Pick of the Week" for Project: Love, Me for my words of wisdom page.
This week was Prompt #5 - iLove
"Who and what we love speaks more to who we are as women than probably anything else. Tell us not only what you love but why and how you love. Let’s get gushy and mushy — and hey, if that’s not your thing, then tell us that too!"
The hardest thing about this page for me was trying not to ramble on. I love my little family more than anything in the world, even cookies and cream ice-cream! (Shocker, I know!!) There are not enough words in the English language to explain how much they make me whole. They are the two pieces of my heart.

Catching Up > Prompt #3 - The Flip Side

Hey guys,
Here is my page for Prompt #3 - The Flip Side
Dreams Unrealized
Scrap a layout about a dream that for one reason or another will never come true. What was your dream and why have you given it up?  How do you feel about that?  What have you learned through the process of not realizing this dream?
I felt a bit funny when I first read this prompt. Of course I have had disappointment in my life, who hasn't, but I figured out that I don't really have any unrealised dreams. It made me so sad to read of women who had dreamed of having babies, and couldn't. It was then that I realised how lucky I have been so far. So my page is more of a dreams that I don't think will come true, but there is still a chance. This prompt has really opened my eyes and shown me that I still have these opportunities, so I had better not waste them!
Edit: Same words, but no pictures, started from scratch using Project: Love, Me kit

See you all when Prompt #5 is released!

Catching Up > Prompt #2 - Flashback

This is my catch up for Prompt #2 - Flashback
What were your dreams when you were younger? What did you used to dream about — whether it came true or not? What was important to you when you were growing up? Where did you think your life would take you?
Focus on one specific dream, or share several. Pick a specific time period — childhood, teenager, young adult, etc. — or share a dream from each.
I enjoyed this one, I got to write down my love story! Not a lot of people knew the story behind Jamie and Me, and I am happy to be sharing it now.
Edit: Same words, same photos, just using Project: Love, Me kit instead

Catching Up > Prompt #1 - iDream

Hey all,
So I have spent the weekend scrapping while I looked after my sick little girl. Thumbs up for laptops! I managed to get the first three prompts all scrapped up and finished. So now I am all caught up!
Your dreams and hopes can tell us so much about who you are and what is important to you. This week we will focus on your current dream(s). It can be anything- big or small. Tell us why it’s your dream- is it because it will make your life easier and give you more time, it’s something you always wanted to do or will help you be the person you want to be or just because it will fulfill you? Have you taken any steps to realize your dream?
Edit: Same words, just using  Project: Love, Me bits instead

Prompt #4 Dreams - Words of Wisdom

I have skipped ahead to Prompt #4 - Words of Wisdom, because I want to start keeping up with the crowd. I will go back to the others after this one is done.
This week the prompt was this:
"What dreams do you have for you loved ones? Do you have a message you’d want to share with them about pursuing dreams, re-visiting dreams or letting dreams go? What have you learned in your life about the role dreams can play in your life?"
My dream for my daughter is simple. I just want her to be as awesome as she is now! =D

This is my Pre-Prompt for Project: Love, Me

We were asked:
"So why are you completing the project? Is it for you, or for someone else, or both? What do you hope to gain from the project at the end of the 52 weeks? Do you think it will make a difference in your life? How?"

It's only.. what.. 3 weeks late =D but it's better late than never, haha!!
Unfortunately I haven't been able to purchase the gorgeous kit that goes with this months theme, but hopefully next month I can..

I have a feeling that this project is going to be an eye opener!!

Project: Love, Me in 2011

Hey Everyone!!

You will have to excuse me, I am BRAND NEW to blogging, so things might be a bit jumbled until I get the hang of it =D

This year I am embarking on something I have never done before. Something in which I will have to be completely honest with myself. Something that will show my family, my friends, and even myself, the person that I really am.
I am totally scared and completely excited to be having a go at "Project: Love, Me" this year.
Thank you to Suzy (SuzyQ Scraps) and Kami (Ziggle Designs) for coming up with this fantastic idea for us all to try.
